In New Zealand the first manufactured recumbent was made by a fella called Tony Wood..something or other, it was called “The Rebal” made of angle iron, VERY ugly but drove fine. 16 inch front, 26 inch rear, USS. I will post a photo. I had one but have sold on. I have one of his trikes, just as ugly , but goes fine, great if your going “paracycling” to the pub. NZ lovely weather but the locals are all car daft, very cheap to buy and run a car here, soooo, buinsess as usual I am afraid, dispite the small population.
